Edward the Emu

Edward the emu was sick of the zoo,

There was nowhere to go, there was nothing to do,

And compared to the seals that lived right next door,

Well being an emu was frankly a bore.

 

 

 

What, where, when

  • monthly for foreigners

  • articles about: history, cooking, travel, sights, sport, architecture, economy, estate agent, transport, urban development

  • as copy edytor once I supervised the production of the whole magazine

  • I worked with them from 09/1998 till 12/2002

  • since 2003 there is only and English version

Polen am Morgen

  • digest with news from the biggest Polish newspapers (Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita, Zycie, Puls Bisnesu, Parkiet)

  • weekdays 5 pages per day, published at 8 a.m.

  • distribution by email, fax and download

  • From 10 p.m. a Polish team of translators start writing the news digest in English, proof-read by a English nativespeaker. The English version is ready about 3 or 4 in the morning. Then a German nativespeaker translates it into German.
